M25 rapist

We were asked to examine the red van used by the suspect in a number of rapes in the M25/Hertfordshire area. The task was to compare pictures of the van taken with different cameras, with the recovered vehicle.

Our analysts were able to identify a number of key features, such as the unusual roof rack. They were also able to establish the most likely numbers on the registration plate. The suspect subsequently pleaded guilty to all charges.
