Spot location surveys

Spot location surveys

Spot surveys are designed to provide details of the set of serving and non-serving cells that provide coverage at a given 'spot' location.

Spot surveys are usually employed to provide average measurements for a location.

Cell coverage surveys

Cell coverage surveys

Cell coverage surveys are intended to determine the extent of serving coverage of a particular cell. The survey is generally performed as a drive survey and the results provide a snapshot of cell coverage at the time the survey was taken.

Route coverage profiles

Route coverage profiles

A route profile employs similar methods as a coverage profile, but whereas a coverage profile seeks to determine the area served by a single cell, a route profile attempts to represent the set of cells that serve along a given route.
