Winnie Jandu is the Business Manger for teams responsible for the forensic examination of Mobile Telephone and related digital equipment for the police, crime enforcement agencies and private sector clients.
With qualifications at Distinction level in computer studies from Kingston University and six years experience within the Forensic Division of LGC, Winnie has swiftly risen from Confirmations Analyst in the Occupational Drug Testing Laboratory to Business Manger/Team Leader within the Digital & Document Forensics Mobile Telephone Examination Team.
Winnie has experience of examining hundreds of mobile telephones for a variety of high profile criminal cases, producing expert witness statements, consultation service for barristers, presenting to a number of Police Forces and managing teams across LGC sites.
During her time as Business Manager, the mobile telephone examination team achieved UKAS 1705 accreditation for their procedures when conducting the examination of mobile telephones, SIM cards and memory cards.
An excellent and personable public speaker, Winnie has presented at conferences and offered training for police forces around the country. These presentations have won her department work from police forces and a variety of solicitors providing defence case-work.
Winnie is also a professional member of the Forensic Science Society and registered as an Expert Witness.
