Clive has worked as a practitioner, and in various senior management roles in the field of digital investigation for nearly two decades.
He has managed software and hardware development teams involved in the production of some of the first computer forensic data capture, analysis and investigation tools, and headed computer investigation teams around the world.
As group operations director of a leading data recovery and forensic investigation company, Clive and his teams handled many of the world’s highest profile criminal and civil investigations. These have spanned the spectrum of digital investigation – from the world’s largest financial frauds, to high profile criminal prosecutions and corporate governance cases.
His role as group IT and technology director saw him lead the development of a range of data erasure, computer investigation and data recovery projects for both backup tape and disk usage.
Later moving into a technical sales role Clive has deal with the some of the world biggest organisations providing high value solutions for disaster recovery, e-disclosure and legislative compliance. A speaker at numerous presentation and training events around the world, Clive has a reputation for delivering complex messages in a simple to understand and straightforward manner.
His personal job portfolio has spanned engagements from the theft of thermal socks in Scandinavia to $500 million civil actions in South Korea, and from anti-terrorist work to divorce cases.
Clive currently heads up the Digital and Document Forensics Business Unit at LGC Forensics. He is responsible for the operational and financial delivery from dedicated teams of experts in the field of Document Examination, Computer Investigation, Mobile Telephone Forensics, Cell Site Analysis, CCTV, Audio and Imagery Investigation, in addition to the software and web development and business development teams.
