Chris Clift is a qualified Telecommunications Broadcasting Engineer with over 15 years experience in the Broadcast Sector, both as an Engineer and as a Digital Video Editor.
Initially employed by The Rank Organisation as an installation engineer, Chris was promoted to the grade of Senior Projects Engineer, where he was involved in large-scale installations both in the UK and Europe.
Upon leaving Rank, Chris became freelance, and continued as an installation engineer but became more involved with digital non-linear editing.
As a broadcast programme editor, he has worked for most of the major UK Broadcasters including The BBC, ITV, Ch4 and SKY, as well as having feature film credits.
Chris has worked as a trainer and consultant for a major editing equipment manufacturer, again providing training for most of the major UK Broadcasters, as well as many Broadcasters in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
He became involved in image and audio enhancement at Kalagate in January 2003, and has since completed the Police Air Reconnaissance Imagery Analysis Course at the Joint School of Photographic Analysis, Defence Intelligence and Security Centre, Chicksands, plus the Digital Image Enhancement and Restoration Course run by SIRA.
Chris has worked on a large variety of cases, both for Defence and Prosecution, and has given evidence in Court in support of the findings of his investigations.
